The Department of Research of the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-l’Île-de-Montréal congratulates all of our researchers for their outstanding work. For 2019-2020, the Centres de recherche de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (CR-HMR) and the l’Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal (IUSMM) received 53 awards or funding from granting agencies totalling $12.5 million. Over 50 researchers and students are committed to developing solutions that give hope for patients and to advancing new therapies :
8 professor researchers received a career award or salary award
18 professor researchers received a research grant
27 students (master's, PhD, postdoctoral) received a scholarship
1 researcher was awarded a Canada Research Chair
These awards include support from the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC), Fonds de recherche Société et Culture (FRQSC), IInstitut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en Sécurité du travail (IRSST), and Ministère de l’Économie et de l’Innovation.
