The animal care facility provides services to house and care for animals. The department has animal holding rooms, a quarantine room, and a Containment Level 2 (CL2) area. The Animal Care Program is accredited by the Certificate of Good Animal Practice (CCAC). The Animal Care Department also provides training on the ethical, theoretical and practical use of animals.
