Careers and studies

Student life

Since its inception, the Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont (CR-HMR) has welcomed and trained hundreds of students and postdoctoral researchers. A research supervisor oversees each student to ensure they develop sound working methods, an analytical mindset and the knowledge and skills to continue their studies or start a career with the highest of ambitions.

Supported by their research supervisor, students can take part in conferences and symposia on their research projects. Weekly presentations on their current research projects to all research teams are an opportunity for students to develop the type of cross-cutting and collegial vision of research that the CR-HMR advocates. These presentations also help students train in the art of scientific communication, an important aspect of research.

State-of-the-art technical environment

The CR-HMR gives students access to technical platforms with high-performance and specialized equipment. Specific partnerships through its research axes also gives them access to ultra-modern equipment at other research centres and institutes.

Student Committee

Our mission is to improve student life by ensuring cohesion and encouraging collaboration between the various axes and research pavilions of the CRHMR.
