The CR-HMR can pursue its mission thanks to the contribution of the Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont Foundation, the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé (FRQS) and various organizations (private companies, foundations, governments, granting agencies), and more.
Their support takes many forms:
- scholarships
- salary awards
- research chairs
- grants to fund a specific research project or launch a new research activity
- grants for equipment purchases
- grants to develop research labs and technical platforms.
Grants and scholarships are given out primarily on the recommendation of a peer committee. These awards let CR-HMR researchers and students continue their activities each year and make CR-HMR a competitive centre of excellence to improve population health.
