Awards of Excellence

Activities organized by the CR-HMR help students and interns develop important communication tools that they will use throughout their scientific careers.

Research day

A major annual event, the HMR Research Day is an opportunity for Research Centre members to present their research to their peers, to HMR staff, and to members of the scientific, university and pharmaceutical communities. Several prizes are awarded for the quality of the oral and poster presentations.

Research Day is held every year in June.

Intern days

Every year, the CR-HMR welcomes undergraduate students for summer internships of approximately three months.
Near the end of August, the CR-HMR organizes a special day when students can present the results from their internship to the centre's scientific community. Awards are given to the best presentations to recognize the students’ contributions to advancing science, to encourage them to continue in this field, and to acknowledge the excellence of the most outstanding work.

Publication excellence awards

Each year, awards for publication excellence recognize the best publications by graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants who are the lead authors of papers published during the year.

The competition deadline is October 1 of each year.
