Karine Bilodeau has a doctorate in nursing sciences. She has been a clinical nurse and consultant in the oncology care sector for over 10 years. She is now a professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Montreal.

Research Unit
The objective of the research unit is to develop and establish solutions to optimize the health care and services received by cancer survivors from the perspective of returning to and maintaining an active social life. The unit´s work deals with, among other things, experiential learning by patients and healthcare professionals, interprofessional interventions in order to support cancer survivors, and the process of returning to work after cancer.
