Dr. Ahmad is the director of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy Program and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. He is also a member of the physical health scientific evaluation committee at the CIUSSS de l’Est-de-Île-de-Montréal.
Research Unit
Dr. Imran Ahmad is a member of the Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Clinical Research Unit. His research interests include allogeneic transplantation, acute leukemia, developments in hematopoietic transplantation and particularly graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), and clinical research methodology. His projects aim to improve the care, survival rates, and quality of life of patients with both malignant and benign hematological diseases.
