Dr. Labbé is a certified medical specialist in medical microbiology and infectious diseases. Her expertise is in sexually transmitted infections (STI), eye infections, and molecular diagnostics.
Research Unit
Her research focuses on the epidemiology and diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, such as syphilis, gonorrhea and some emerging infectious diseases. Her research activities include multiple clinical projects on the diagnosis of eye infections. Dr. Labbé is also interested in developing and optimizing microbiological testing for COVID-19.
