It is with great pride that Dr El Bachir Affar, PhD, researcher at the Centre de recherche de l’Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, accepted the presidency of the organizing committee of the 64th annual conference of the Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences (SCBM) which will be held virtually from June 4 to 17, 2021.
We invite you to participate in this conference which will focus on protein homeostasis. During this event, various topics related to normal protein function and protein defects causing various diseases will be discussed.
In addition, Dr. Mona Nemer, PhD, Chief Science Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada, will participate in a panel discussion on the future of science in Canada. Dr Nemer will discuss science policy, COVID-19, and other topics of interest to the next generation of scientists and Canadian society.
